Our young and vibrant College celebrated the success of its first matric class at the end of 2012. Our classes are small and allow meaningful and substantial interaction between our teachers and the pupils. We look to inspire our learners and prepare them to function effectively as citizens of 21st Century South Africa and the world.
We teach in specialised classrooms in Physical Science, Life Science and IT & Computer Application Technology and offer lessons in a variety of subjects using the latest teaching methodology and equipment. The school also offers an Economic stream for Tertiary Education learners - Accounting and Business Studies, and rounds out the possible subject choices with Dramatic Arts, Geography and History. Our timetable emphasises contact time with our learners and thus, the pastoral role that our educators play in the lives of the children they teach. Academic support and enrichment programmes play a crucial role in our on-going success, as does an extensive year-round Sport, Cultural and Service curriculum which supplements our participation in the President's Awards programme.
We seek to encourage the best of the best to attend the school - acknowledging this by running a scholarship programme that brings these learners to the College. Applicants to the school should demonstrate these same abilities: they must be motivated to achieve personal excellence and to strive to be the best they can be. This is something that they can achieve in the nurturing environment that is part of the core philosophy of our institution.
Our ambition is simple - to produce the best that the learners have to offer and then to inspire them to be greater than that by daring them, with God's help, to be more.
